Double Haiku

Falling Leaves
(A double Haiku.)
hear the leaves falling
fluttering to the soft earth
begging to stay on

but alas they can't
red and gold flung about
it's that time again
Mom's Pizza
(a free verse poem.)
I like my mom's pizza.
It has thick, gooey cheese.
It also has juicy pepperoni,
and a thin, toasty, warm crust.
Flour, yeast and water
make the crust.
My mom sometimes makes a mess
while using the tomato sauce.
(Not really.)

Poems

Limericks
1. There once was a puppy from Beijing.
Who had an interest in shaving.
But then he soon found,
he was just a hound,
and thought of the time he was saving.

2. There once was a man from Pakistan.
Who had an ambitious plan.
But try all he might,
he started a fight,
now known as the underwater man.
( 2. is based on Bin Laden.)
